| I have lived in 9 different apartment complexes in the last decade, and none have ever even been in the same ballpark of horror as this place.The apartments are, admittedly, spacious and the rent is reasonable.However, it quickly becomes glaringly obvious that each unit is essentially a run-down, leaking, creaking box with a new paint job and some new appliances.All of my locks were broken, the ceiling was leaking in three different places.Maintenance came to fix the leaking ceiling above the bathtub with nothing but spackle and drywall tape.They had to remove the toilet to suck out a half foot of water from below the floor (where our toilet had been leaking into the downstairs apartment..and they had to come back three more times to stop our toilet from leaking into OUR apartment afterwards.)But worst of all, our upstairs neighbors are total nightowls.They make more noise at 2am than anyone I have ever lived next to does in the middle of the day.I can hear every video game they play, every movie they watch, and every song they listen to.I've been to the apartment complex office at least 20 times and they've essentially told me I have to deal with it.I've had the police out four times to stop the noise (and the police said they thought it was rediculously loud.)Once, one of the neighbors even came down and threatened my fiance and I about calling the police.The apartment office doesn't seem to care.DO NOT move into this hell-hole. Oh yeah, and parking sucks too. |
