Apartment Review for Bonaventure Place - Louisville, KY

To say this place has gone down hill is an understatement of epic proportions! This place used to be a hidden jewel of Okalona. The units are spacious and I think well made, at least my unit is certainly solid. I know the care and thought put into this place by the prior owners, and it is a pitiful shame how the new management company has let this place go to the dogs. We have trash, loud cars and neighbors, and perhaps worse is the drugs. Certain areas reak continually of pot smoke, and the management refuse to address the situation. They raised our rent as soon as they took over, supposedly getting it up to "market level". Well we are not receiving "market level" care. All of the shrubs and bushes which had previously been maintained beautifully have been let go and they are showing the neglect. Weeds are abundant, also something new. Children's toys and bikes are left all over the place. Trash is found all over the property. The types of tenant who live here now have changed to the negative in many cases, in the past this was not an issue. I keep hoping for positive change, and I try to encourage management to take care of business, so far it hasn't helped.
