Apartment Review for Champion Farms - Louisville, KY

The overall apts are ok. When I first moved here I was happy. Then a week or so after moving in the trouble started. After a light storm one evening I noticed that the wall in the second bedroom looked like it had water damage. Apparently there was a leak. The majority of the wall in the second bedroom had significant water damage. It took the staff a month to come out to even look at it and almost another month for them to "fix" it. I assumed it was taken care of. After a second storm about a month later. I walked into the room and water was literally POURING down the wall and was leaking out from around electrical outlets and a phone jack on that wall. I immediately called the office and got a response of "what do you want us to do about it...its raining." After they came out the second time to look at it they discovered mold growing under the carpet and significant water damage. The only thing they wanted to do was to patch the wall yet again and replace just a corner of the carpet that had water damage. After another month they finally agreed to let us move to another apt. They offered no assistance and had nothing but horrible attitudes about it. It was a horrible experience and once my lease is up I am out of here. Buckingham Properties does not care about anything but money. They do not invest money back into the properties and dont care anything about tenants. The staff that works for them are absolutely rude and lazy...with the exception of one. The only person who has been of any help here is the assistant manager. But her hands are tied on some issues because of the manager and company itself. I would not reccomend these apts to anyone.
