this place has been a pain in the backside... first we had to get the patio doors replaced (they were white and cloudy you could not see out of them)and that took about three weeks. when they finally did they only replaced one. when told about the cabinets being filthy and covered with food they told us that WE could repaint. then after about three or four weeks of renting there, the tub backed up and we were lucky enough to come home to a tub filled with black water. the whole place smelled like crap, literally fecal matter. after reporting this to the office attendent, she did everything she could to contact the maintance man on call. he never responded... apparently he's old and can't hear. this is what she said... finally after getting a hold of the superivisor of maintance he contacted the maintance man "Joe" and told him to contact the office. when told of the tub situation (which had also happened to the girl across the hall) he said he would call the plumbers. he then put in a request for them to come out and we were told to just wait. (he told the girl across the hall that she would just have to wait until monday for someone to come out on monday, this all happened on fri/sat... after he tried unsuccessfully to unclog it with drano) when the plumbers finally showed up two hours later, the office attendant gave us the key to the girls apartment across the all (with her permission) and we let them in. the plumbers once again couldn't get a hold of "Joe" the maintance man on duty, they need a vaccum to unclog the tubs. he never answered. they filled buckets and emptied it in my toilet. although we got a good deal on some rent deduction, the whole ordeal was unorganized. they do not put their clients/renters at the top of their priorities list. i'm considering moving asap. they are offering to resurface our tub and told us they would get a hold of us to give us a date, never did. i just called a day before they had the tub people coming out. good thing I called THEM. you have to be away from your apartment for at least six hours. and can't use it for up to fourty-eight hours... my son has breathing issues so i asked for a time to expect them. after being told they would call me with that informations when they got back from lunch, ironcally they never called, so I called THEM. she couldn't give me a time. thanks for the help. maybe i'd be better off with a tub full of black stains. the date: 9/25/07
