Apartment Review for Paradise Apartments - Louisville, KY

I will explain why I gave the ratings I did: 1. You are not safe here! At one point when I lived there, a car was firebombed; a child took the car keys of his (who was passed out drunk) and rammed several cars before going in a ditch; they rent to section 8, I don't have a problem with that, I have a problem with the laziness of the ones that live there!; there are not enough lights in the parking area. 2. Parking: The parking situation is terrible! They should assign parking spaces and make it stick! There often is so much partying going on that you loose your parking spot near your own apartment! 3. appearance: very worn, need painting, roofing, landscaping, and doors on building repaired! 4. Office staff: the manager would never check out a situation, she was too lazy! She would rely on certain tenants to report to her. Needless to say, they sometimes reported one neighbor for things they themselves were doing! 5. Maintenance: This is a joke! Getting anything done is like pulling teeth! The maintenance man does repairs as cheaply as he can, not the way he should! 6. Condition of unit: Needs paint, carpet and tile in poor condition, some windows cracked and missing screens. 7. Noise level: LOUD! As stated before, there were tenants who reported others for playing music loud, and then they would do it in their own apartment. If you reported them, the manager often said: "that doesn't sound like them", and couldn't believe it. The only time I ever got through to her was by calling the police one night and taking the officers name. I told her if she didn't believe it, call him! 8. These apartments have gotten so bad that I would be embarrassed to live there again! When things started sliding, I bought a home and was grateful to be out of there! You have been warned!!!
