Apartment Review for Parkview Apartments - Louisville, KY

Biggest complaint was the heating and A/C. The unit had to run 24/7 to keep things liveable. Not comfortable living, and very expensive. In the winter you couldnt humidify the place even with several humidifiers going. It was so bad anyone visiting and stayed overnight would get nosebleeds. At night I had to seal off my room and use oil filled radiators instead of the HVAC so I wouldnt bleed to death in the night. The outside walls would get frost on them they were so uninsulated!! In the summer, good luck with not sweating to death. Literally, AC had to run all hours of the day to barely keep up. The place definitely doesnt have any insulation nor any decent windows. Locks on the front and back doors were falling apart. Didnt really feel all that secure. Always had homeless people camping out in the hallways. Hallway lights were always out and you had to find your way up and down the flights of stairs in pitch black. The repair man is really creepy and rude. Couldnt even fix my bathroom sink. Appliances are shot. Refrigerator and stove were at least 30 years old, all rusted out and had problems but Harry Lewman wouldnt replace them. Nails continually popped out of the hardwood floors and sliced your feet. Had several loud neighbors who constantly threw parties. Fun at first, but then annoying. Harry's leases are really loose and seems to be an easy going guy until it comes to his money. I paid on time for several years but was treated like garbage upon moveout. Very unprofessional. If you're attracted to the neighborhood, look at other apartments. For the price you pay at Parkview, other places can easily provide the "old" feeling with at least some updated conveniences.
